About The Position

The Rubber Press Operator is responsible for operating compression or transfer molding presses to manufacture high-quality rubber components. This role ensures production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in manufacturing processes is a plus.
Direct experience operating and troubleshooting rubber molding equipment.
Previous experience as a Rubber Press Operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production needs.
Adhere to ISO 90001
Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
Manual Dexterity
Follow all safety guidelines to ensure personal and team safety.

Responsibilities

Operate rubber molding presses (compression/transfer/injection) according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Load raw rubber materials and remove finished molded parts from presses
Inspect parts for defects such as flash, voids, or incomplete curing
Trim excess material (flash) using hand tools or trimming equipment
Monitor press temperature, pressure, and cycle times
Perform basic machine adjustments as needed within training limits
Follow production schedules and meet hourly output targets
Maintain clean and organized work area (5S standards)
Complete production and quality documentation accurately
Report equipment issues, safety hazards, or quality concerns to supervisors
Documentation: Maintain accurate production logs, recording output, quality checks, and any machine adjustments made during operations.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Collaboration: Work closely with team members to achieve production targets and improve processes.
