About The Position

As a Pavement Maintenance Technician (Sealcoating, Line Striping & Crack Filling) at EverLine, you will be responsible for applying asphalt sealants, filling cracks, and painting lines with precision and care. You will work on a variety of surfaces to enhance appearance, safety, and durability for our clients. This position is ideal for hands-on, detail-oriented individuals who are ready to learn and grow in a supportive team environment. No prior experience is required—we’ll provide full training!

Requirements

• Previous experience with asphalt maintenance, paint sprayers, or small engines is a plus, but not required.
• A valid CA driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Comfortable with lifting up to 75 lbs and performing repetitive physical tasks (walking, kneeling, bending).
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills through hands-on training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work areas by cleaning and masking surfaces before sealcoating and line striping.
• Apply asphalt sealcoating materials using spray or squeegee techniques.
• Perform hot and cold crack filling using melter and applicator.
• Lay out and paint lines, symbols, and stencils according to site requirements and ADA standards.
• Conduct daily vehicle and equipment checks and maintain cleanliness.
• Communicate job progress and site conditions to the Operations Manager.
• Ensure safety for yourself, your team, and the public throughout the job site.
• Support other crew members as needed and take initiative on site prep and cleanup.
