About The Position

The position involves providing fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers, specifically within the Seafood department. The employee will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of seafood products in display cases to maximize sales opportunities. This includes fulfilling special orders accurately and adhering to corporate and state sanitation regulations.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service at all times.
• Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers upon fulfilling their requests.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of Seafood department products, including preparing, pricing, stocking, and maintaining the seafood case.
• Perform sanitation duties within the Seafood department, including cleaning dishes, food cases, and floors according to corporate and state regulations.
• Ensure a high level of customer courtesy and service at all times.
• Ensure the accuracy of customer special orders, such as shrimp platters.
• Operate various seafood department equipment, including product weight scales, ovens, and cleaning utensils.
• Learn and become proficient at setting ice displays to corporate standards.
• Perform suggestive selling, sampling, and PA announcements to promote sales.
• Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
