As a seafood department team member, you will be responsible for ensuring quality control during receiving, managing inventory and product quality of all seafood products, implementing FIFO (First In, First Out) concept, and maintaining full product display. You will execute procedures for handling expired products and effectively manage shrinkage to minimize loss. Delivering exceptional customer service is key, as you will greet and assist customers enthusiastically, friendly, and courteously. You will assist customers in product selection and offer recommendations to enhance their shopping experience, address customer complaints promptly, and foster positive relationships through attentive service and genuine engagement. Additionally, you will provide guidance and supervision to junior team members, offer feedback on staff performance, and assist in staff training and development within the department. Leading by example, you will demonstrate proficiency in all assigned duties and set a standard for excellence. Your responsibilities will also include preparing various seafood products for sales activities, maintaining workplace cleanliness, and fulfilling any additional responsibilities as assigned by superiors.
