About The Position

The Overnight Shift Seafood Porter position is a full-time role located in Brewster, NY, with a pay rate of $18 - $19 per hour. The shift options are Monday-Friday or Sunday-Thursday, from 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM. Key responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the seafood production area and equipment, performing deep cleaning of various items, disposing of waste according to guidelines, replenishing cleaning supplies, and assisting with general seafood production and packing during peak times. The role requires adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and safety standards. Candidates should be able to work in cold, wet environments for extended periods, be comfortable with physical tasks such as standing, bending, and regularly lifting up to 50 lbs, possess basic English reading, writing, and math skills, and be a team player capable of following instructions and safety procedures. Requirements

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the seafood production area and equipment
Perform deep cleaning of floors, drains, tools, bins, and seafood processing stations
Dispose of waste in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines
Replenish cleaning supplies and notify management of maintenance issues
Assist with general seafood production and packing duties during peak times
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and safety standards
