Requirements

Must have ability to read, write and communicate in English.
Must be able to work independently or within a team environment.
Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.
Must have working knowledge of production equipment.
Must be able to understand and follow all Food Safety Guidelines and Occupational Safety Guidelines.

Responsibilities

Packs products in an accurate and timely manner.
Follows company standardized pack specifications along with any customer specified deviations as communicated through special instructions via work orders/cut tickets.
Accurately reads and comprehends all customer specific special instructions.
Performs Quality Control checks and communicates with supervisors and managers any defects.
Inspects meat products for defects, bruises, or blemishes.
Obtains and distributes products to appropriate pack lines.
Weighs meats and tags containers with weight and contents.
Effectively completes tasks to reduce processing costs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
