About The Position

Requirements

• Ability to converse in English and comprehend department guidelines and procedures.
• Must be at least 18 years of age upon employment.
• Ability to distinguish colors and visually recognize products.

• Experience in customer service or food handling.
• Knowledge of seafood products and preparation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provides friendly and courteous service to customers, maintaining knowledge of seafood products and answering inquiries.
• Receives, unloads, and checks invoices for incoming seafood merchandise, taking inventory and assisting with orders.
• Cuts, wraps, prices, and displays seafood products, including preparing poke and sushi.
• Ensures the quality and freshness of products, repacking and re-pricing items as needed.
• Stays informed about store specials and promotions to assist customers effectively.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the department, including showcases and equipment.
• Pursues professional development opportunities and contributes to corporate goals.
• Performs miscellaneous responsibilities as assigned.
