About The Position

The holiday season is approaching at Uncle Giuseppe's! We are seeking a Seasonal Part-Time Seafood Clerk (BOH) for our North Babylon store. This position runs November through the first week of January 2026 and pays $21.05/hour. (Seasonal roles do not include company benefits.) Our Seafood (BOH) clerks are responsible for cooking our fresh seafood, making and preparing salads, seafood sandwiches and grab and go items.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Working knowledge of seafood preparations and displays within a seafood department
• Ability to interpret, understand and follow instructions and solve problems

Responsibilities

• The Seafood Clerks will cook and steam seafood for customer purchases, including grab and go items
• Check and verify freshness of seafood items in live tanks. Verify and remove spoiled product and rotate merchandise
• The Seafood Clerk will weigh, price, and package customer selections using weigh scales, label machine and wrapping machine
• Work in a safe and proper manner, exercising safe food handling practices.
• Exercise proper safety practices on use of all equipment
• Operate and clean seafood equipment and tools
• Other duties as assigned
