About The Position

The position available is in the Site Engineering Department. This position performs a variety of engineering tasks that require extensive analysis and evaluation of components utilized across our enterprise. This position also includes responsibilities for technical decisions associated with the operation and maintenance of the Seabrook Nuclear Power Station. Employees in the role will be provided real world experience related to the design, operation and maintenance of equipment and systems in the operation Nuclear Power Station. The position offers the ideal candidate experience with equipment installation, equipment selection, calculations, and project management. Good presentation skills are also a requirement.

Requirements

• High school grad / GED
• Maintain active enrollment in a Bachelor or higher degree program
• Maintain cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

Responsibilities

• Assists department with assigned projects as required.
• Completes challenging projects and assignments.
• Participates in field walk downs of plant equipment.
• Participates in equipment selection for assigned projects.
• Performs calculations and validates the results using independent techniques.
• Develops and maintains a project schedule. Periodically reports out on schedule progress.
• Presents final project to senior leadership at the end of the internship.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
