This position performs in a management role under the direction of the Curator, overseeing and supervising the daily operation of the animal training/care staff and animal collection. The Assistant Curator provides guidelines, clear instructions and directives, ensures and teaches proper husbandry procedures, conditioning techniques, and demonstration skills, while maintaining the quality of demonstrations to the standard expected by the Curator.
