About The Position
This position will be based out of the Facilities Fleet service bay located at 1100 E. Sheldon St. Prescott AZ 86301. The Automotive Mechanic Assistant will be working directly under the Lead Fleet Mechanic while learning and performing a variety of basic vehicle/equipment maintenance and repairs. The student should possess an aptitude for mechanical and electrical repair, be able to follow explicit instructions, and enjoy working in a shop or field environment. These will be indoors and outdoors exposed to all weather types. This student worker ideally will be working toward completing an automotive based program or certification.
