About The Position

Procom is searching for a Mainframe QA Lead for an 18-month role on behalf of our Financial Services client. This position is a position with 2 days onsite at our client's Southlake, TX office. Charles Schwab is recruiting a driven, results-oriented Mainframe QA Lead who shares our passion for technology, innovation, and excellence. Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, DB2, SQL, SQL Stored Procedures, Messaging Queues (IBM MQ, Kafka), CICS, Easytrieve, Datacom, SORT utilities.
• 5+ years of QA end-to-end testing experience in Finance and Brokerage industry.
• 7+ years in scheduling tools such as Control-M, ChangeMan, FileAid, Startool, Xpeditor, TOAD, and SPUFI.
• Strong RCA (Root Cause Analysis) skills.
• Thorough understanding of Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong experience in collaborating with business and technical teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with API testing tools such as Parasoft and Fiddler.
• Prior experience in the financial services industry and regulatory document processing.
• BlueZone Session Manager scripting for QA Automation / SDET role.
• Passionate about technical mentoring of junior staff and peers.
• Keen sense to identify areas of automation to improve testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, test, and direct other QA professionals to ensure software aligns with business and regulatory needs.
• Maintain all aspects of the overall software development lifecycle and ensure the on-time, quality delivery of software product releases.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and impact analysis.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis and identify solutions to complex issues in enterprise applications.
• Ensure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported areas.
