As a Quality Assurance Engineer at GlobalLogic, you will analyze requirements and suggest improvements to enhance product quality. Your role will involve developing and running both manual and automated test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage. You will identify, log, and verify defects, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner. Additionally, you will set up and maintain test infrastructure and test frameworks for seamless integration, monitor and report product quality metrics to collaborators, and apply various testing methodologies and techniques to deliver a high-quality product. Collaboration with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Development teams will be essential to ensure alignment and successful implementation of requirements. You will also participate actively in sprint planning, requirements grooming, daily scrums, and retrospectives.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field with demonstrated skills in Automation Testing using Java and Cucumber.
  • Proven experience working on at least three product delivery cycles, managing multiple applications and platforms simultaneously.
  • In-depth knowledge of SDLC and STLC in an Agile delivery model.
  • Strong experience with DevOps tools such as JIRA and Jenkins.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of test automation trends, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Integration testing experience in complex, multi-system environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience developing build specifications, test plans, and protocols.
  • Ability to identify the relationship of bugs to the software code and handle, prioritize, and track project details effectively.
  • Experience in analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, and solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Test Automation tools like TestNG, Mockito, Load Runner, and Apache JMeter.
