About The Position

Modivcare is looking for an experienced SDET III to join our team. This position is responsible for developing software solutions to test applications and systems to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality. This role develops and maintains automated test scripts and advanced frameworks to validate software functionality and performance across various platforms. It also develops and implements test strategies for complex software applications, incorporating multiple testing types. The SDET III will mentor junior team members, providing guidance on automation frameworks, best practices, and methodologies. They will oversee one or more testing platforms and collaborate with software developers to identify and resolve defects. Participation in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing, is expected. The role includes reviewing system specifications and documentation to ensure testability and alignment with business needs, executing manual and automated test cases, analyzing results, and documenting findings. The SDET III will perform thorough regression testing and ensure proper defect tracking, work with DevOps teams to enhance automated testing within CI/CD pipelines, evaluate new testing tools and technologies, and contribute to process improvements. Coordination with globally distributed teams and participation in additional projects as assigned is also part of the role.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Five (5) plus years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or similar role.
• Proven experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Cucumber, BDD).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and software development/testing practices.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience designing and building automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and work collaboratively.
