About The Position

Modivcare is looking for an experienced SDET II to join our team. This position is responsible for developing software solutions to test applications and systems to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality. This role involves developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to validate software functionality and performance across various platforms. The SDET II will collaborate with software developers to identify and resolve defects and issues, participate in the full software development lifecycle, and review system specifications to ensure testability and alignment with business requirements. The role also includes executing test cases, analyzing results, identifying and tracking bugs, performing regression testing, and creating test documentation and reports. The SDET II will develop testing processes for new and existing products, liaise with internal teams, stay updated with new testing tools, and coordinate with geographically distributed teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
  • Three (3) plus years of experience in software testing or related roles.
  • Proven work experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or a similar role.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Cucumber, or BDD.
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Experience in mobile, API, and database testing is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.

  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
  • Identify, record, and track bugs and defects.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Create and maintain test documentation and reports.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
  • Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements.
  • Stay up to date with new testing tools and best practices.
  • Coordinate with geographically distributed teams.
  • Participate in other projects or duties as assigned.
