Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation using Java and Selenium.
  • Strong understanding of OOP concepts, collections, exception handling, and debugging techniques.
  • Proven experience with Selenium locators, waits, Page Object Model, and automation best practices.
  • Ability to write clear Gherkin feature files and implement step definitions aligned with BDD principles.
  • Proficiency with Git (branching, commits, pull requests) and code collaboration workflows.
  • Strong communication skills, proactive mindset, and eagerness to learn and adopt new tools.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, API testing, and exposure to cloud-based or parallel test execution platforms.
  • Experience with Maven for build management and RestAssured for API testing

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Build, extend, and optimize BDD automation frameworks leveraging Cucumber for scalable test development.
  • Execute regression, smoke, and functional test suites, analyze failures, and drive timely defect resolution.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and Git branching workflows.
  • Partner closely with developers, QA, and product teams to define test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and coverage gaps.
  • Integrate automated tests into existing CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous validation.
  • Monitor automation stability, identify flaky tests, and implement improvements to increase reliability.
