SDET Automation Tester

About the position

Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through meticulous testing and validation processes. This role involves developing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• AIX dev and test knowledge
• QE knowledge for batch systems
• Develop comprehensive test plans outlining testing strategies, objectives, scope, and resources.
• Create and execute detailed test cases based on software specifications and requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Identify, document, and prioritize software defects, and communicate them to development teams.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Work closely with software developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to establish clear testing objectives and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
• Azure Cloud / AWS experience
• Safe Agile experience
• Execute performance tests to assess software scalability and reliability under various conditions.
• Facilitate UAT to ensure the software meets user requirements and expectations.
• Work with existing applications to find and utilize existing test plans, ensuring continuity and leveraging previous testing efforts.
