About The Position

We are looking for SDC Operations Officer I to join our Specialty Deposit Center team at Open Bank! The SDC Operations Officer I will perform a broad range of operational duties related to deposit accounts, including account opening, maintenance, and servicing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three years of experience in general bank operations or related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Ability to retain a broad knowledge of tasks performed in the deposit operation and lending functions.
  • Good understanding of all required documents needed for opening new accounts.
  • Ability to analyze and organize financial information and perform complex financial calculations.
  • General knowledge of lending and deposit regulations and laws.
  • Present a professional image in dealing with clients, interdepartmental, and external representatives.
  • Accurate typing/keyboarding skills; basic computer skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet software applications, and e-mail.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all new account documentation is completed accurately, reviewed for compliance, and processed in accordance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze financial information related to deposit accounts, including reviewing account activity, preparing reports, and performing necessary calculations.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of bank products, services, policies, and applicable regulations to support customers and internal teams effectively.
  • Support daily operational activities, including transaction processing, record maintenance, and verification of account information.
