In partnership with Y7, we’re looking for a Part-Time Sculpt Instructor to join our team in Silver Lake (L.A). Y7 Studio is where movement meets music, and we’re redefining what it means to flow. THE Y7 EXPERIENCE Y7 Studio is hiring Sculpt instructors for our Y7 Silver Lake studio. SCULPT is a 50 minute, low-impact, low-intensity class meant to increase student mobility and build strength. All studios are heated to 80-90 degrees using state-of-the-art infrared technology, which helps create a detoxifying sweat that stimulates blood circulation and increases flexibility. This is a music-driven practice where you will flow to tracks from varied genres. Classes are held in a dark, candlelit room with no mirrors to encourage you to turn your focus inward and explore your individual practice.
Requirements
- 1+ years of leading in-person, group fitness classes
- Experience in Sculpt, Barre and/or Mat Pilates
- Availability to teach morning, evening, and weekend shifts
- Must be able to commit to at least 2 shifts per week
- Comfortable teaching in heated rooms (85–95°) for extended periods
- Passionate about music and integrating it into the class experience
- Open to feedback, coaching, and ongoing development
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to kneel, bend, reach, climb, and stand for long durations of time
- Ability to move and lift equipment and supplies weighing 50+ pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively in environments with moderate to loud noise levels
