About The Position

The Scrum Master at MedInformatix is responsible for leading scrum teams in the application of Agile methodology and scrum practices across various development projects. This role involves facilitating scrum ceremonies, promoting self-organization within teams, and ensuring continuous improvement in processes. The Scrum Master will communicate project statuses, track key performance indicators, and assist in the design and management of new modules and tools, all while fostering a creative and inspirational work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related area.
• Experience in analyzing information, software design, software documentation, software testing, teamwork, general programming skills, software development fundamentals, software development process, software requirements, and software architecture.
• Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Basic business math skills.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to think outside the box.
• Organized and detail-oriented with strong planning and coordination skills.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Jira is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.
• Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization.
• Identify and troubleshoot obstacles that are hindering the team's progress.
• Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time.
• Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity.
• Assist in the design & management of new modules and tools per company.
• Create documentation for both new and existing modules as needed.
• Apply strong problem-solving and decision-making skills while using sound judgment for all assigned tasks.
• Advocate that all development efforts are reviewed and aligned with company development best practices.
• Work with the team to create an inspirational and creative work environment.
