Job Responsibilities: The Scrum Master is a process owner and servant leader who facilitates and enables the Scrum team’s adherence to Agile principles and practices. This role is critical in delivering high-quality products in the shop floor automation industry. The Scrum Master works collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth sprint execution, manage risks and dependencies, and maintain alignment across teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field required, Masters Degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role.
  • Intermediate to Advanced expertise in Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is required.
  • Proven experience in risk management, issue tracking, and conflict resolution within Agile teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the shop floor automation industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitation of Scrum Events: Plan and execute sprint ceremonies, including release planning, sprint planning and estimating, daily standups, release demos, and retrospectives.
  • Collaboration and Issue Resolution: Work with the Level 2 support team to manage defect triage, prioritize issues, and ensure resolution timelines. Promote collaboration between product owners, developers, and external stakeholders.
  • Risk and Dependency Management: Identify, document, and manage risks and issues impacting sprint delivery. Ensure cross-functional dependencies are aligned to avoid bottlenecks and delays.
  • Agile Coaching and Adherence: Act as a mentor to the team and coach them on Agile principles and best practices. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and self-organization within the team.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Monitor sprint metrics and team performance indicators to identify areas for improvement. Provide clear and timely reports to stakeholders regarding sprint health, risks, and delivery progress.
