Overview: We are currently looking for a Scrum Master to support our contract with the DRAID CDAO ADA IR Program. As a Scrum Master, you will work closely with product owners, mission stakeholders, and technical teams to lead Agile transformation efforts and scale Agile methodologies across teams. You will play a key role in advancing national defense priorities, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and frameworks to create impactful solutions. Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in supporting Agile teams or working within an Agile environment.
  • Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or similar industry certification
  • Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Familiarity with collaboration tools like MS Teams or equivalent.
  • Security Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance required (SCI eligibility preferred).
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Domain Knowledge: Interest in or foundational knowledge of AI/ML pipelines, data engineering, or national defense projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in SPACECOM or NORTHCOM environments.
  • Exposure to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices.
  • Experience working in a DoD or federal contracting environment.
  • Familiarity with program management principles or methodologies.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and growing within Agile and Scrum roles.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Act as a servant leader and Agile coach for multiple teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with program goals.
  • Identify and remove impediments to team progress, maintaining focus on delivering high-value increments.
  • Mentor teams in adopting and scaling Agile methodologies, including the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Coordinate and align multiple Agile teams to ensure consistency in practices and collaboration across initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, staffing plans, and performance reports.
  • Track and report Agile metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts, and sprint health to stakeholders.
  • Engage with stakeholders to communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Support the integration of Agile tools and technologies, such as JIRA, Confluence, and version control systems.
  • Facilitate onboarding training for Embedded Teams, including administrative processes, technology overviews, and CDAO Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide continuity and mitigation planning for teams located in foreign locations.
