Requirements

  • Five (5) years of experience as a Scrum Master on large‑scale IT development projects with contract values over $5,000,000.
  • Three (3) years of experience as a Scrum Master on large‑scale IT system integration projects with contract values over $1,000,000.
  • Two (2) years of experience leading geographically distributed virtual teams of at least 10 members.
  • Four (4) years of experience across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Three (3) years of experience working on Agile or Hybrid Agile development projects.
  • At least one industry‑recognized project management certification such as: Agile Certified Professional (PMI‑ACP) Certified Scrum Master (CSM) SAFe Agilist

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience as a Scrum Master implementing or maintaining public sector systems.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent and effective use of the Scrum framework, promoting Agile best practices across teams.
  • Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, sprint demos, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Oversee system configuration, design, development, testing, implementation, and post‑implementation verification within an Agile framework.
  • Manage product backlog and sprint cycles, ensuring timely resolution of system defects and backlog items.
  • Maintain all system documentation, ensuring requirements and business rules remain current.
  • Provide ongoing support to Scrum teams for subsequent releases, including integrating additional requirements and resolving defects.
  • Forecast achievable deliverables for each iteration using evidence‑based estimation.
  • Drive accurate sprint planning and estimation with the development team.
  • Support teams in conflict resolution and overcoming delivery obstacles.
  • Coach team members on Agile practices and promote continuous learning.
  • Facilitate goal setting, action planning, and alignment with project objectives.
  • Track progress and proactively remove impediments to maintain team performance.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support successful project delivery.
