The Scrum Master plays a key role in facilitating agile delivery for cross-functional teams as part of our multi-year digital transformation. Partners closely with Product Owners and Tech Leads in a triad leadership model to drive predictable delivery, team health, and continuous improvement. Demonstrates strong facilitation skills, experience removing organizational impediments, and a passion for building high-performing teams in a collaborative environment.

  • Facilitates sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Leads backlog refinement sessions in partnership with Product Owners
  • Establishes and maintains sprint cadence and team rituals
  • Drives continuous improvement through actionable retrospective outcomes
  • Serves as the team leader responsible for team health and dynamics
  • Builds psychological safety and fosters high-performing team culture
  • Coaches team members on agile principles and self-organization
  • Tracks and communicates team velocity and delivery metrics
  • Identifies and removes blockers to team productivity
  • Coordinates cross-team dependencies with Platform Team and external contractors
  • Shields teams from scope creep, priority changes, and organizational distractions
  • Escalates issues to leadership when blockers require intervention
  • Partners with Tech Leads on balancing technical debt against feature delivery
  • Works with Product Owners on realistic sprint commitments and release planning
  • Coordinates with contractor teams on shared dependencies
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, or related field; relevant work experience considered in lieu of degree
  • Facilitating multiple agile teams simultaneously
  • Working in triad model with Product Owners and Tech Leads

  • This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to speak and hear. The associate is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. This job requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
  • Financial services experience preferred
  • CSM, PSM, or equivalent Scrum certification preferred
  • Salesforce development environments (preferred, not required)
  • Azure DevOps or similar agile project management tools
