About The Position

As a Scrum Master for our software development team, you will play a key role in facilitating Agile principles and ensuring smooth Scrum operations across the team. You will guide and coach the team through the Agile framework, helping remove any roadblocks, improving collaboration, and continuously working to enhance productivity. This position requires close collaboration with product owners, managers, developers, and other stakeholders to meet project goals while fostering a healthy, adaptive, and high-performance team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
• Proven experience with Scrum and Agile practices, particularly in software engineering contexts.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Lean methodologies and software development processes.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent.
• Comprehensive understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and other Agile methodologies.
• Ability to mentor teams in Agile best practices, helping them grow in maturity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to facilitate group discussions and resolve conflicts.
• Skilled in fostering collaboration, transparency, and team engagement.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and removing blockers.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to evolving business needs.
• Understanding of software development processes, coding practices, and related technology.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Able to cultivate a positive, open, and growth-oriented environment within the team.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on mentoring, coaching, and empowerment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure the team follows Scrum framework practices while continuously exploring ways to improve processes.
• Act as a bridge between development teams and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
• Track and manage project progress, key metrics, and report status to stakeholders.
• Foster transparent communication and create an environment of trust and open feedback.
• Assist the product owner in maintaining a clear and prioritized product backlog.
• Coach the team on Agile principles and self-organization, empowering members to find innovative solutions.
• Identify and help resolve any issues that may hinder team productivity or morale.
• Continuously assess team progress and agile maturity, adjusting coaching approaches accordingly.
• Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency, collaboration, and product delivery.
• Proactively identify risks, manage dependencies, and work to remove blockers that affect the team's progress.
