The Scrum Master I at Cummins Inc. is responsible for facilitating Agile practices within the Systems/Information Technology team. This role focuses on fostering high-performance teams, implementing continuous delivery pipelines, and ensuring effective communication and conflict management. The Scrum Master will leverage business insights and a global perspective to align team efforts with the organization's strategic objectives, while also establishing DevOps practices to meet market demands.

  • Leverage understanding of business dynamics and market trends to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Develop and deliver clear messages tailored to different audiences for effective information exchange.
  • Consider global contexts and diverse viewpoints when addressing issues to ensure inclusive solutions.
  • Navigate and resolve conflicts smoothly to maintain a productive environment.
  • Apply holistic analysis to understand system interactions over time for sustainable solutions.
  • Foster the creation of Agile teams using Lean-Agile principles to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
  • Implement processes and automation for continuous delivery of new functionalities from ideation to release.
  • Establish DevOps practices and a continuous delivery pipeline to release value as needed.
  • College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or Safe Scrum Master Certification (SSM) preferred.
  • Experience working in a software development organization and Agile environment as a Scrum Master.
  • Knowledge and practical experience of Lean methodology, principles, and tools.
  • Scale Agile Framework certifications.
  • Experience with data analytics or business intelligence.
  • Business function experience in Finance, Marketing & Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, New Product, Quality, or Reliability.
  • Competitive salary range of $86,400 - $129,600 per year.
