About The Position

Cognizant is seeking a highly qualified Scrum Master with experience in CX-Scrum Master and Agile PLM processes to join their Digital Engineering practice. This role involves leading a digital software team in delivering high-demand applications while ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies. The Scrum Master will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and clients to deliver valuable software solutions, focusing on team success and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Expertise in CX-Scrum Master and Agile PLM processes.
• Proficient in using MS Project for project management and resource allocation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and removing impediments.
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities to guide and support team members.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification in Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development team in implementing Agile methodologies to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of software development projects using Scrum practices.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Apply CX-Scrum Master skills to facilitate Scrum ceremonies and remove impediments for the team.
• Implement Agile PLM processes to streamline product lifecycle management and enhance project outcomes.
• Manage project timelines and resources using MS Project to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable development tasks.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders on status, risks, and issues.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices to maintain code quality and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to improve overall code quality.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and project outcomes.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the development team.
