About The Position

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assists in providing care to a designated patient population in collaboration with other members of the health care team.

Requirements

• National Certification as a Surgical Technologist through NBSTSA or NCCT
• Completed an appropriate training program for surgical technology in the US Military
• Valid NJ LPN License
• Evidence of being employed as a Surgical Technician prior to December 2011
• BLS from American Heart Association
• Intermediate computer skills
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift, push and pull

Nice To Haves

• Hospital Operating Room scrub experience preferred
