Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Scribe to join our team! JOB SUMMARY: The scribe’s primary role is to assist a physician in creating and maintaining a patient’s medical record, though a scribe may assist the physician in other ways. Provide service excellence based on patient care and patient relationships. Functions as an effective team member with teamwork being the core approach whether doing order entry or providing patient care. Enters Provider medication and lab orders accurately and efficiently. The Scribe communicates with Providers and other medical staff, about patient’s lab and medication orders. Effectively provides a quality level of service to both internal and external customers and carries out tasks as delegated by Providers and Supervisors. Provide/support patient care by performing tasks and duties consistent with regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures and standards. Additionally, is able to perform general duties in all areas within the clinic with adequate supervision.
