About The Position

Under the direct supervision and presence of a medical provider, the Medical Scribe provides annotation, under their own profile on behalf of the medical provider, in patient Electronic Health Records (EHR) of any dictated, written, or verbal communication as instructed by the medical provider. The Medical Scribe will document information in patient EHR following all local, state and federal regulations/guidelines for documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good time management skills and ability to multi-task.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Ability to effectively communicate with others.
• Ability to build positive interpersonal relationships with all levels of organization.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
