About The Position

The Screw Machine Setup/Operator is responsible for setting up and operating screw machines in compliance with ISO and safety standards. This role involves loading materials, performing machine setups, ensuring quality specifications, and assisting in training and maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Mechanically inclined with good skills in tools and machinery.
• Ability to perform standard math for machine adjustments.
• Strong reasoning ability to think critically and overcome obstacles.

Responsibilities

• Operate screw machines, including loading bar stock, filling fluids, and removing chips from the machine.
• Perform setup on screw machines, including tooling changes, tool sharpening, and tool adjustments to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Ensure conformance with quality specifications.
• Assist other operators in performing tool changes, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
• Assist in training others on the operation and setup of screw machines.
