Requirements

• Machine Maintenance Experience REQUIRED
• Two to four years related experience and/or training in mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and troubleshooting skills.
• Trained in Lockout-Tagout (LOTO).
• Ability to read machine drawings.
• High school diploma, trade school experience or GED preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in auto mechanics or screw machine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of machinery.
• Assist in training others.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment per the COGZ Maintenance System.
• Diagnose the source of equipment problems by observing equipment operation and employing troubleshooting methods.
• Initiate material requests for parts.
• Perform repairs as needed on equipment.
• Oversee contractors when repairs require service from an outside vendor.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
