About The Position

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor and Trainer, this position is responsible for transferring a design onto garments using a screenprint machine. As an operator, you will be responsible for processing orders through preparing garments, programming machine for the design and making quality adjustments as necessary, as well as helping to analyze order to identify design and determine ink colors or threads. Requirements

  • Positive attitude & self-motivated
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Detail oriented and self motivated
  • Must be reliable, responsible and take direction well
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks for several hours
  • Ability to be stand for 8-10 hours a day

Nice To Haves

  • High school education desirable
  • Previous production preferred
  • Tablet, computer, Microsoft Word, Doc and Excel experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Access order specifications through computer programs
  • Maintain Lakeshirts' acceptable standard of quality per garment
  • Keep work area clean and orderly
  • Organize workflow
  • Follows safety practices. Identifies problems and works to resolve safety issues as they occur in accordance to OSHA standards
  • Works actively with others to get the job done
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Unload shirts from platen
  • Analyze orders to identify design and determine ink colors
  • Verify quality of clothing and ink design or fabric color
  • Change screens and ink for specific orders
