The Screening Supervisor is responsible for supervising lead and operators in the Screening department, overseeing the department's production and operations, and creating and implementing improvements related to equipment materials and processes. This role involves processing corrective actions and equipment mechanical maintenance, supporting and following Knowles values in practice, and conducting yearly performance employee evaluations. The supervisor will read work orders and processing charts to determine specifications and sequence of operations, reject faulty assembly, part, or component, and record the type and quantity of defects in proper forms. Additionally, the supervisor will measure parts to verify accuracy of dimensions, maintain manual or computerized records of production and inspection data, schedule and control the production of materials in screening, and maintain inventories for screening. The role also includes overseeing clean room maintenance, certifications, and equipment calibration tracking, inspecting machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization, and developing and revising standard operational working practices while observing workers to ensure compliance with standards. The supervisor will set up and conduct tests of complete units and components under operational conditions to investigate design proposals for improving equipment performance or other factors, or to obtain data for development, standardization, and quality control. Finally, the supervisor will analyze indicated and calculated test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives, and modify or adjust equipment to meet specifications.
