About The Position

RiteScreen is the leading manufacturer of custom window and patio door screens, and we are seeking dependable Screeners to join our production team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring every screen meets our quality standards before reaching customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old due to manufacturing equipment and safety requirements.
  • Two or more years of manufacturing experience preferred (window or door industry experience is a plus).
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy while multitasking.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor production issues independently.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate and cross-train.
  • Ability to adapt to changing production priorities.
  • Understanding of PPE requirements and safe work practices.
  • Commitment to producing high-quality products consistently.
  • Stand for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks.
  • Work at a consistent pace with periods of increased activity.
  • Walk, reach, and handle materials throughout the facility.
  • Lift and move items up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Read operational and safety documents and differentiate colors when required.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
  • Use hand-eye coordination to assemble products and operate tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Lean manufacturing or process improvement experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Use hand tools to install mesh into pre-assembled screen frames to create finished products.
  • Maintain efficient workflow between production stages.
  • Perform periodic quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
  • Monitor production for inconsistencies and report concerns to supervisors.
  • Resolve minor production issues and escalate larger concerns when necessary.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and workstations clean and in proper working condition.
  • Follow safety protocols and participate in ongoing safety training.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness using 5S principles.
