About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Scraper Operator to move and distribute earth and other materials on our construction projects. This role requires precision, safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively as part of a crew on large-scale grading and excavation projects. Responsibilities Operate scraper equipment to load, haul, and dump soil and aggregate materials Ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of quality Maintain equipment and perform basic repairs as needed Communicate regularly with other crew members and subcontractors to ensure that work is completed on schedule and within budget Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and that safety procedures are followed at all times Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction projects Provide on-the-job training to new operators as needed Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in heavy equipment operation preferred 2+ years of experience operating scarpers or similar heavy equipment preferred Strong understanding of earthmoving techniques and safety protocols Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences A commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in heavy equipment operation preferred
• 2+ years of experience operating scarpers or similar heavy equipment preferred
• Strong understanding of earthmoving techniques and safety protocols
