About The Position

Under the general direction of Recreation Program/Facility Supervisor and/or Recreation Coordinator, the Scorekeeper maintains written scorekeeping logs and operates electronic scoreboards at athletic events. This position primarily requires evening and weekend hours of work. Facilities include Raccoon River Park Softball Complex, Holiday Park Baseball Complex, Valley View Park, MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex, and/or local community school facilities.

Requirements

• Must be 14 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain written scorekeeping logs at athletic events.
• Operate electronic scoreboards during games.
• Ensure accurate scoring and record-keeping for events.
