About The Position
The Olefins production facility at St. Charles Operations has an opening for a production engineer. SCO Olefins consists of two world-scale flexible-feed ethylene plants (SC1 and SC2), with combined production capacity of 2.2 billion pounds annually. This job is specifically for the Olefins 1 Separations area. The person in this job plays an important role in the plant's ability to deliver maximum value to the company through EH&S excellence, high reliability and efficiency, and low cost to produce. The position offers a unique opportunity for an engineer to develop both technical and leadership skills. Serves as a vital resource for Operations by applying technical skills to optimize plant operations, resolve plant problems, and enable safe and efficient production of low cost, quality products. Requires broadened conceptual and working knowledge and experience in job discipline to perform a range of work assignments.
