About The Position

The SCM Planning Associate role focuses on building and managing a global procurement model that enhances account management and customer satisfaction. This position involves coordinating with vendors and various parties to streamline procurement operations and ensure efficient inventory and logistics management.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of global procurement experience or data analysis experience preferred.
• BA/BS in International Business or Computer Science preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Business level proficiency in Japanese required.
• Experience working in the procurement or logistics industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement operations and analyze customer needs to provide value-added services.
• Consolidate procurement functions across factories to maximize efficiency.
• Control inventory and delivery, checking inventory levels and purchase order statuses, while negotiating with suppliers and customers.
• Control logistics costs and business process costs in accordance with business rules.
• Summarize monthly profit and loss and balance sheet figures for each account in charge.
• Analyze procurement data and determine effective visual representations for managers and factories, collaborating with the Business Division.
• Maintain the computer system master data for customers, vendors, and products, including pricing and delivery lead times.
• Ensure timely collection of account receivables from customers and payment of invoices to suppliers.

Benefits

• Salary range of $55K-$66K depending on experience plus bonus.
• Standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
