About The Position

The SCM Data Analyst plays a vital role in supporting the organization's data-driven decision-making process. This role contributes to the analysis and interpretation of complex data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that improve operational efficiency, strategic planning, and overall performance. The Data Analyst collaborates with senior analysts and business stakeholders across various departments to provide actionable insights, maintain data integrity, and support data governance and reporting efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a clinical area, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required
  • 1-3 years of experience in data analytics, healthcare operations, program management, or relevant support services required
  • Proficient in oral/written communication and data storytelling.
  • Proficient in SQL and data visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Access, BI platforms).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across departments.

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, operations, data governance, or program management preferred
  • Familiarity with supply chain analytics, operations optimization, supply chain data governance or supply chain compliance regulations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data governance, regulatory compliance, and access control preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in data management, analytics, or process improvement (e.g., CDMP, Six Sigma, CSCP) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Gathers, cleanses, and prepares supply chain data from various sources (e.g., inventory systems, transportation systems, procurement data) ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Accurately enter and update supply chain-related data (e.g., supplier information, item master data, purchase terms) into ERP or procurement systems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor and respond to incoming tickets and service requests from suppliers and internal stakeholders (e.g., validating new suppliers, updating contact details, troubleshooting data issues).
  • Conducts descriptive, exploratory, and statistical analyses of supply chain data using appropriate software and analytical techniques.
  • Writes and executes SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for reporting and analysis.
  • Delivers reports on supplier activity, ticket response metrics, and data quality trends. Document workflows and maintain accurate records of data changes and support requests.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, business leaders, compliance) to address data-related questions, audits, and projects.
  • Supports data governance and compliance by contributing to data quality initiatives and process documentation.
  • Identifies data issues and works with stakeholders to develop and implement solutions.
  • Participates in data-related projects, including those focused on security, access management, and data standards.
  • Communicates insights and recommendations through clear visualizations and presentations tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Manages multiple projects and deadlines under the guidance of senior analysts or project leads.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
