About The Position

Mission USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety. Job Description ISSO: Performs weekly backups, conducting annual and recurring ISS training, establishing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, and managing the system’s security plan. Assists the Customer in maintaining other secure information systems to include performing USSTRATCOM duties. This position is also responsible for managing a personnel security function for SAPs to include updating the personnel access security system (PASS II) and providing updates and status briefed personnel to the Customer. Additionally the selected candidate will manage an access quotas system for the SAP which entails providing monthly status reports, processing program access requests, performing access eligibility determinations, processing visit certifications, and conducting SAP indoctrinations and debriefings.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of related experience
  • US Citizenship required
  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
  • Certification Required: Security + or CASP+ or CCSP or Cloud+
  • Ability to Obtain ITIL 4 Foundation – ITSM Certification within the first 9 months

  • GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC)
