Scientist - RD-Aerofil Technical
About The Position
Essential Functions:· Develop liquid and aerosol products that meet customer requirements and comply with all applicable regulations.· Help scale-up from laboratory samples to production runs.· Troubleshoot issues that may occur throughout all stages of manufacturing.· Routine and project specific data entry and interpretation.· Follow or create formulas and blend instructions.· Understand formula calculations.· Communicate with suppliers, vendors, sales/CSR, and customers on an on-going basis.· Assist with purchasing of lab supplies and controlling expenses.· Understand and follow Good Laboratory Practices.· Prepare lab reports for customers.· Regular attendance per handbook policy.· Other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelors’ Degree in a scientific discipline.
- The ability to understand shop orders and other reports as applicable.
- The ability to perform visual observations of samples and test results.
- Excellent communication skills, good organizational skills, and strong attention to detail.
- Computer literate and the ability to train on programs required for the job (OJT or professionally).
