Your work will change lives. Including your own. The Impact You'll Make Contribute directly to Recursion's mission of revolutionizing drug discovery through our automation- and AI-powered platform. Join initiatives to develop, validate, and scale high-throughput assays on our multiomics platforms, including whole-genome CRISPR screening, enabling the construction of Recursion's Maps of Biology across diverse and often challenging human cell types. Analyze experimental data rigorously to validate processes, troubleshoot systems, and drive innovation—sharing findings and collaborating with a cross-disciplinary team to refine strategy and direction. Conduct impactful research in a matrixed environment where your insights and ideas are highly valued and expected. Play a key role in growing our team, building foundational workflows, and expanding our capabilities through effective teamwork and collaboration. The Team You'll Join You will be an integral part of a truly cross-functional multiomics assay development team boldly redefining preclinical drug discovery. You'll join an environment that thrives on collaboration, open communication, and teamwork across multiple departments. This team works closely to develop and scale assays that enable Recursion to expand its growing Map of Biology; to do this you will also work closely with biologists, assay development associates, data scientists, software engineers, automation engineers, and our supply chain team, among others. This team's key output are robust assays for deployment on our high throughput screening platform, that integrates industry-leading automation to generate petabytes of high-dimensional data from human cells. Strong communication skills are essential to our success, as much of our coordination and reporting happens electronically. We deeply value independent thought, self-reflection, and a growth mindset, with a shared goal of fostering continuous improvement—both individually and as a team. Your actions will play a vital role in building and sustaining a strong, cohesive team culture that prioritizes collaboration, mutual support, and shared success. We also believe that the best ideas come from diverse perspectives, so your voice matters here. If you have suggestions or ideas to improve the way we work, we welcome and encourage you to share them. Together, we aim to create an environment where everyone feels empowered to contribute, learn, and thrive as a team.
