  • Demonstrate scientific initiative and creativity in research and development activities and apply them to manufacturing process support.
  • Perform laboratory research or test method development with minimal supervision.
  • Formulate conclusions and design follow-on experiments based on multidisciplinary data.
  • Initiate new areas of investigation that are scientifically meaningful and can be incorporated into a research or development program.
  • Demonstrate proficiency across a wide range of relevant technologies.
  • Interpret results and draw conclusions from multistage experiments, noting significant deviations and suggesting relevant experiments.
  • Understand relevant scientific literature and apply theoretical frameworks to solve problems in a timely manner.
  • Perform routine and complex tasks competently and independently, generating reliable results.
  • Impact projects through lab and/or pilot plant-based activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.

  • Apply basic computer skills and technical writing skills to produce reports and documents.
  • Bachelor's Degree with typically 7 or more years' experience or Master's degree with 3 years' experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Biology or similar area.
