About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist II with strong in vitro immunology expertise to join our dynamic research team. In this collaborative role, you will design and execute innovative cell-based assays to support the development of next-generation biologics. You will work with primary human, rodent, and NHP immune cells to assess target engagement, immune activation, cytotoxicity, and mechanistic function using advanced flow cytometry and complementary immunoassay platforms. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to pipeline programs, present scientific insights across the organization, and influence the direction of ongoing research through high-quality data generation and scientific leadership at the bench.

Requirements

  • PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, or a related discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience, or MS with 6+ years of hands-on immunology experience.
  • Demonstrated experience executing immunological assays and working with primary immune cells.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard scientific software.

Nice To Haves

  • Expertise in immune cell isolation (including magnetic separation methods).
  • Experience developing and validating primary and immortalized cell-based assays.
  • Hands-on proficiency with multi-parameter flow cytometry, immunoassays, and cell culture.
  • Experience with analytical tools such as FlowJo and GraphPad Prism.
  • Prior experience in biopharmaceutical R&D or drug development.

Responsibilities

  • Design, optimize, and execute in vitro and ex vivo cellular assays leveraging primary human, murine, and NHP immune cells.
  • Apply advanced flow cytometry and immunoassay methodologies (e.g., ELISA, MSD) to characterize immune cell activity and biologic mechanisms of action.
  • Analyze complex, multi-parameter datasets; prepare clear, concise technical reports; and present findings to scientific teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proactively contribute new experimental ideas and provide scientific insight to support program strategy and decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to support murine tissue processing and joint research activities.
  • Maintain exceptional laboratory practices, including accurate electronic notebook documentation and routine instrument and lab maintenance.
  • Uphold high standards of communication, organization, and teamwork within a fast-paced research environment.
