About The Position

We are seeking a Scientist II, Bioanalytical to join our growing bioanalytical team in Woburn, MA. This is a hands-on, on-site laboratory role ideal for a scientist with strong immunoassay experience who is ready to take on increased technical ownership, contribute to assay development and validation, and grow into scientific leadership within a regulated CRO environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with 2–3 years of relevant bioanalytical experience
  • Hands-on experience with immunoassays and cell-based assay techniques (required)
  • Experience working in GLP and/or cGMP environments with exposure to assay development and validation (highly preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced laboratory setting
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including data analysis, graphs, and reporting

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in GLP and/or cGMP environments with exposure to assay development and validation (highly preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Perform sample analysis following established SOPs and regulatory requirements
  • Independently execute RUO and GxP bioanalytical assays with minimal supervision
  • Perform data processing, review, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Participate in the development, optimization, and validation of immunoassays and cell-based assays
  • Author and review protocols, validation reports, and study documentation as required
  • Support assay troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts
  • Serve as a Principal Investigator (PI) on assigned studies based on expertise and experience
  • Provide technical guidance and day-to-day support to junior scientists or research associates
  • Ensure adherence to GLP, cGMP, and internal quality standards
  • Support general laboratory operations including buffer preparation, sample handling and shipment, equipment maintenance, and supply ordering
