Learn more about RayzeBio: https://careers.bms.com/rayzebio/ Summary The Radiochemist will be responsible for taking a lead technical role in both radiochemical and analytical methods for the drug product and isotope programs at RayzeBio. The Radiochemist role will be to identify challenges and to develop solutions to technical problems in radiochemical and analytical QC testing related to RayzeBio’s drug product pipeline. The areas of focus will include drug product development including radiometal synthesis and analytical QC testing. The radiochemist will also be expected to provide leadership to the radiochemistry team in establishing and maintaining proper organizational and safety culture within the laboratory.

Requirements

  • BS 5+ years of experience in Radiochemistry or other scientific equivalent work experience or MS 3+ years of experience in Radiochemistry or other scientific equivalent work experience or PhD 1+ years of experience in Radiochemistry or other scientific equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working with radioactive materials.
  • Experience with wet radiochemistry
  • Experience with analytical methods (HPLC, Radio-TLC, gamma spec, etc.)
  • Experience working with radioactive materials.
  • Excellent professional ethics, integrity, and ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Uses AI tools to enhance individual productivity and quality of work

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and leadership on radiochemical and analytical methodologies.
  • Take a lead in navigating drug product development challenges and providing problem solving in support of IND enabling submissions.
  • Support the technical transfer of radiochemical methods from other RayzeBio and third-party sites to the Indianapolis facility.
  • Manage third party vendors in support of analytical and laboratory equipment.
  • Draft GMP documentation including but not limited to SOP’s, forms, and reports.
  • Support activities related to hot cells, gloveboxes, and production cleanrooms.
  • Ensure compliance with NRC, EH&S and US/EU GMP regulatory guidelines as required.
