The Scientist I Production Operations is responsible for following established operation procedures, maintaining appropriate training records for your role, sustaining a smooth flow of material, and the execution of work orders to on-time completion. This position reports to the Conjugates & Purifications Supervisor and is part of the Upstream Value Stream located in Chaska, MN, and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Execute the daily production plan to due date conformance and quality standards according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Independently execute work regarding protein purifications and/or conjugations using good laboratory practices; assistance in other areas as needed Assure compliance with FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO regulatory requirements Apply basic analytical skills or scientific methods to perform daily tasks Work directly and cooperatively with cross-functional team members to troubleshoot issues and ensure emphasis on quality Learn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Science field (preferably in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology)
  • Chemistry experience
  • Demonstrating good laboratory practices

Nice To Haves

  • A regulated industry preferred (e.g. FDA, ISO)
  • Cell culture, protein purification and/or conjugation.
