ModeX Therapeutics is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scientist I with experience in developing innovative technology and biotherapeutics. The position requires expertise in vector systems, gene delivery and multispecific antibody therapeutic research. Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in molecular biology, immunology, cancer biology or related field
  • 12+ years of working experience in academia or industry (for Scientist I)
  • Expertise in molecular biology, gene delivery, immunology, and immunoassay
  • Hands-on experience in molecular cloning, gene delivery using mRNA/LNP or DNA/LNP, cell culture (including primary cell lines), protein expression/purification, multi-color flow cytometry, T cell-based assays and immunological techniques (ICS, ELISA, Luminex, cytotoxicity, immunoblotting, etc.)
  • Excellent written and oral communication, organization, and data analysis skills
  • Outstanding troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Highly adaptable to a fast-paced work environment and capable of working independently as well as within project teams

Responsibilities

  • Execute research experiments such as DNA vector construction, mRNA production, protein expression/purification, in vitro assays and in vivo models to evaluate efficacy of novel gene delivery technology or biotherapeutics.
  • Work in our state-of-the-art laboratory and be responsible for experimental planning and execution, data analysis and presentation.
