About The Position
The Scientist I, Manufacturing Sciences, will be responsible for the synthesis of functionalized resins used in columns. This role involves using manufacturing protocols to accurately synthesize raw and functionalized resins for column production, addressing and reporting problems in daily manufacturing, and proposing effective countermeasures. The position requires effective communication with other production staff regarding delays and issues in production, as well as efficient interaction in a cross-functional setting between several departments. The scientist will also collaborate in PPI initiatives to improve overall quality and yields of various synthesized resins and participate in 5S, JDI, and Safety initiatives.
